most lap tops come with a 14" or 15" screen.
although you can get a 17" relatively cheap if you shop around

Do any of you use wall-mounted screens? I got a friend who has and he says he has loads more space on his desk now when he has to write stuff.

I'd take a 50 inch LCD tv that I'd mount on my wall.

Wootz finally my laptop is working again and the OS is stable enough to access the internet. I had to reinstall all my OS and programs after my little niece and nephew managed messed up my comp in less then 30 mins. Good thing I had no reports for school or files of any value on my comp.
As for gaming laptops there are some very good ones thats worth $1500. Mine only cost me $1200.

The Elite is really nice from what I have heard, but do not get a core, you want one with a harddrive in it. The games just work better with harddrives imo.

I would look at the Special Edition, supposedly it is designed better to off set the heat problems that they all have. I think it is worth the extra money as my 360 died, and so did my brothers 360. Luckily mine was still covered, he had to pay 100$ plus shipping, and I hear it could take a month or longer to get them back.

I have an intercooler on mine to stop the overheating problems. Keeps it so much cooler then it was then when it didn't have one. My friend had his die twice in 2 months. It sucked for him. But oh well.
